SANTA FE — The Summer 2021 issue of El Palacio magazine, the official publication of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, has been shipped and is live at www.elpalacio.org.

Free Summer Bible Clubs For Children Ages 4-12

Child Evangelism Fellowship News:

Child Evangelism Fellowship is sponsoring Vacation Bible School beginning June 21 and taught by trained teen summer missionaries with adult supervision.  

Each Club or Vacation Bible School lasts for one week, Monday through Friday, and features Bible and missionary stories, songs, Scripture memory, games, crafts, snacks, contests and prizes.

PAC 8 Summer Media Classes Kick Off At Ashley Pond!

PAC 8 Summer Media classes got off to an exciting start last week, students met June 1 at Ashley Pond for the Pac 8 Beginning Video class which teaches student basic camera techniques, editing with Adobe Premiere, and audio, this class is for 4th – 8th graders. The Museum of International Folk Art (MOIFA) presents “Kabuki and the Making of a Vengeful Female Ghost,” a free online lecture via Zoom with Dr. Satoko Shimazaki, Associate Professor of Japanese Literature and Theater at UCLA.

Tuesdays At The Pond: Eryn Bent Concert Sold Out Tonight!

The Eryn Bent concert, which kicks off the free Tuesdays at the Pond summer entertainment series tonight, is now sold out according to organizers.

The Los Alamos Creative District is asking those without a ticket to instead sign up for one of the other free weekly performances through early August.

If those without tickets show up at Ashley Pond it may cause the rest of the series to be cancelled or postponed. The event must abide by COVID-Safe Practices as outlined by the state, which currently includes limiting the size of mass gatherings.
