Los Alamos Doctor Receives FDA Appointment

Richard Honsinger, MD of Los Alamos Medical Care Clinic has received an appointment to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the period of 2014-2018. 

He is selected as a practicing allergist/immunologist.

The meetings are held in Washington, D.C. several times a year. He will continue to practice allergy and immunology at Los Alamos Medical Care Clinic and will continue to do consultations in Santa Fe on a weekly basis. Appointments can be made at 505.662.4351

LAPS Hires Tim Doyle As Payroll Supervisor

Longtime Los Alamos resident Tim Doyle was recently selected as the new Los Alamos Public Schools Payroll Supervisor. Monday marked his first day on the job.

Doyle and his wife Christine have three children, two of whom have graduated from Los Alamos High School and a third attends Los Alamos Middle School. Survey Open To Collect Opinions About Potential Bike Sharing Project In Los Alamos County

An online survey is open for responses at https:////bit.ly/LAbikeshare that invites all interested public to provide information that will be used in assessing the feasibility of providing a bicycle sharing service in Los Alamos County.

The survey is a project of Places & Spaces Los Alamos, a 501c3 community development organization. LAMC To Permanently House Air Medical Helicopter

Patients at Los Alamos Medical Center (LAMC) in need of air transport to a hospital off the hill, will no longer have to wait for a helicopter to fly in from somewhere else. LAMC has contracted with Classic Air Medical, headquartered in Woods Cross, Utah to permanently house a medical air helicopter in Los Alamos. The following schedule was prepared to reduce the amount of time items sit at the curb. The County asks residents to please be courteous to their neighbors and not set out materials sooner than two days before the first day of their scheduled collection date. 2015 Legislative Preview At Fuller Lodge Jan. 8

The 2015 New Mexico legislative session will begin Jan. 20 and continue for 60 days.
