LAVNS Daffodil Sales Begin Thursday

The Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service (LAVNS) Hospice Program is having its  annual “Daffodils for Hospice” sale. Proceeds from the sale support the Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service Hospice program for terminally ill individuals.

The community is invited to attend a briefing by The Idea Group of Santa Fe, LLC, at 5:30 p.m. today in the meeting area of the American Legion on Trinity Drive.

Candlelight Vigil Honors Shooting Victims March 14

Voices of Los Alamos and the Unitarian Church invite the community to a candlelight vigil to honor the victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.

 

The vigil includes the sharing of non-denominational prayers, songs, music and brief statements from local high school students and others. Those gathered will then walk around the pond with candles.
