In conjunction with the production of John Adams’ opera “Doctor Atomic” at the Santa Fe Opera this summer, the exhibit, “J. Robert Oppenheimer: Photographs From His Life: 1904-1967”, has been extended through Sept. 15, at the Los Alamos History Museum, 1050 Bathtub Row in Los Alamos.

2018 LAFRW Constitution Day Poster Contest Underway

LAFRW News:

The annual Constitution Day Poster Contest contest sponsored by the Los Alamos Federated Republican Women (LAFRW) is underway. The contest is designed to challenge students to learn more about the U.S. Constitution and to express creatively the ideas embodied in it.

All posters entered in the contest will be displayed at Urban Park during the Constitution Day Picnic, 2-5 p.m. Sept. 16, sponsored by the Republican Party of Los Alamos. The Awards Ceremony is 3 p.m. at Urban Park, with cash prizes awarded to the winners: $150 high school; $100 middle school and $50 grades 4-6. Read More
