Film Office: ‘Walk. Ride. Rodeo.’ Films In New Mexico

SANTA FE – New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis announced today that the independent feature “Walk. Ride. Rodeo.” produced by Netflix and Poke Prod, LLC will begin principal photography at the end of July through mid-August in Santa Fe, Espanola and Albuquerque. 

 
The production will employ approximately 60 New Mexico crew members, 20 New Mexico actors and 350 New Mexico background talent.

Call For Poets For ‘Green Or Red’ Poetry Slam

ALBUQUERQUE The deadline for poets to apply to participate in the Bosque Chile Festival Red or Green Poetry Slam is July 27.
 
The third annual Bosque Chile Festival is a unique celebration of food, art and culture in New Mexico’s Middle Rio Grande Valley.
 
New this year is the Red and Green Poetry Slam that will feature six New Mexican poets taking a poetic stand on “Green or Red?” and competing for cash prizes during the day’s events. Three slam winners will receive a prize of $100 with a $100 bonus for the champion.
