SANTA FE — Attorney General Hector Balderas has joined a coalition of states in supporting Congressional efforts to reject a final rule by the U.S. Department of Education that fails to protect students and taxpayers from the misconduct of unscrupulous schools.

Udall, Heinrich, Luján Announce $850,000 In Grants To GallupARTS And Georgia O’Keeffe Museum

U.S. SENATE News:

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senators Tom Udall (D-N.M.) and Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), along with U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.), announced Tuesday that the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has awarded $100,000 to gallupARTS to support a digital project to increase public engagement and $750,000 to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum for a grant-matching fund to encourage private support for a humanities project.

The Chama River below Abiquiu Dam is undergoing a stream improvement project and there are some closures along the river at this location.

You can no longer access the river by driving down Abiquiu Dam. The Chama River can be accessed from a road that runs along the river.
