Valles Caldera Fall Fiesta 2024 Starts Saturday Oct. 5

The 2024 Valles Caldera Fall Fiesta starts in just a few days. The nine-day special event kicks off with dozens of tribal artisans, a special presentation from Superintendent Jorge Silva-Bañuelos and a musical performance by Marlon Magdalena.

Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra To Perform Fall Concert

COMMUNITY News:

The Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra presents an evening of symphonic music at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 at Crossroads Bible Church in Los Alamos.

Tickets are not sold in advance and all are welcome to attend. Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $10. A reception will follow the concert where guests can mingle with the musicians.

The orchestra welcomes its new permanent conductor, William Waag, who also serves as Artistic Director of the Santa Fe Youth Symphony and Music Director of the Santa Fe Community Orchestra.

The 3rd World Posole Cooking Championships returns to New Mexico Friday and Saturday Oct. 5-6, outdoors at Tesuque Casino in Santa Fe.
