2024 New Mexico Poetry Out Loud Champion Kaitlyn Lubega Headed To National Competition In Washington, D.C.

The New Mexico Poetry Out Loud champion, Kaitlyn Lubega, an 11th grader attending United World College in Montezuma, is headed to the Poetry Out Loud National Finals in Washington, D.C. Santa Fe Community Orchestra To Present Concert May 19

The Santa Fe Community Orchestra (SFCO) will present a free performance of three widely acclaimed works:

          • Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol;
          • Florence Price’s Adoration; and
          • Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, orchestrated by Maurice Ravel.

The concert is 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at the Scottish Rite Temple, 462 Paseo de Peralta, in Santa Fe.

2024 Kite Flying Festivities This Weekend At Overlook Park

The Los Alamos Arts Council and Enterprise Bank & Trust bring the community a weekend of kite flying festivities at Overlook Park Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28.
