“A Historical Hit Parade” sums up the content of the Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra’s (LASO) spring concert scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, April 21 at Crossroads Bible Church.

The program opens with the Overture to “H.M.S. Pinafore” recalling a performance in August 1948 of the entire Gilbert and Sullivan operetta in conjunction with the Los Alamos Choral Society and Little Theatre. SANTA FE — New Mexico Film Office (NMFO) Director Amber Dodson announced Monday that the feature film “The Christmas Classic” from CC Productions was filmed in and around Ruidoso in March.

LAHS Students Among High School Finalists From Across New Mexico To Perform At Awards Show In Popejoy Hall

Forty high school students from across New Mexico have been named as finalists for four top awards in the biggest celebration of high school theater in the state.

The Enchantment Awards named students from 10 high schools as nominees for their annual show. The students chosen as Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Supporting Actor will be announced during the show in Popejoy Hall at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 28.
