Zozobra National Anthem Auditions To Be Held July 8

ZOZOBRA News:

SANTA FE — The Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe has invited community members around the area to audition to be part of Santa Fe’s most historic tradition, the 99th Burning of Zozobra.

Due to a scheduling conflict, National Anthem auditions will be held 1-4 p.m. Saturday, July 8, NOT July 15, at the Scottish Rite Center, the big pink building at 463 Paseo de Peralta in Santa Fe.

The Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe is the sole organizer of The Burning of Will Shuster’s Zozobra, and over the years Zozobra has given back $1.9 million to help the children of area communities grow and thrive. Read More

Santa Fe TradFest Returns To Camp Stoney

SANTA FE — Santa Fe TradFest returns to Bishop’s Ridge at Camp Stoney for a three-day festival of live music, jamming, camping, workshops and activities for the whole family.

This year, the festival lineup features 15 national and local musicians including bluegrass powerhouse Kathy Kallick Band, old-time music hero Bruce Molsky, and local favorites Lone Piñon.

The festival is held Aug. 25-27, with camping opening Thursday, Aug. 24.
