The 2023 Los Alamos Summer Concert Series presented by Toyota of Santa Fe, continues to be the Best Free Summer Concert Series in the State! This week, the Los Alamos Summer Concert Series welcomes an incredible Eagles Tribute Band, The Long Run, Colorado’s Tribute to the Eagles. This Friday, June 23, FREE at Ashley Pond Park!
The opener for the evening is Iron Chiwawa, who is a rock and roll cover band out of Albuquerque with four excellent musicians that have been together since 2004 and have played all over New Mexico. All the members take turns as lead singers and play your favorite rock and roll covers from the 50’s to the 2000’s. They’re sure to get you up and out of your seat to dance and sing along to all the great songs they play.
The Long Run, ‘Colorado’s Tribute to The Eagles’ hails from the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in Northern Colorado. Born in 2009, the band immediately hit the road doing fairs and festivals all over the Four Corners states-region, including many others. In April 2019, they celebrated their 10-year anniversary by hosting a successful concert at the famous Paramount Theatre in downtown Denver, only to be followed by an appearance at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colo. that same Summer. The Long Run continues on 13 years later, faithfully re-creating the 70’s sound of America’s best-selling Rock Band in history.
