New Mexico Actors Lab Announces Spring 2024 Plays

SANTA FE — Nicholas Ballas, Artistic Director of The New Mexico Actors Lab (NMAL), announced Tuesday that the Lab will open its 2024 season with a pair of thought-provoking, controversial two-character plays, Eleanor Burgess’ The Niceties and David Mamet’s Oleanna.

The two plays will be performed in rotating repertory (alternating performances) to highlight both their parallels and differences.

Los Alamos Arts Council and the Missoula Children’s Theater invite the community to a special performance at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 29 at Crossroads Bible Church.

The Missoula Children’s Theater, hosted by the Los Alamos Arts Council, wrapped up day one of auditions and rehearsals at crossroads Bible Church in Los Alamos on Monday.

From more than 90 registrations, 60 Los Alamos youth from ages 5-16 were selected for on stage and behind the scenes roles for the upcoming production of “The Little Mermaid”.
