NWS predicts tonight’s low around 26 and an extended forecast that includes a 30 percent chance of new snow Monday of less than half an inch and a high near 37, a 60 percent chance of snow Monday night, a 70 percent chance of snow Tuesday with a high of 37 and a 50 percent chance of snow and low around 20 Tuesday night. SANTA FE — All Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 16, for the federal holiday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Regular business hours will resume Tuesday, Jan. 17.

The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) has announced that Felipe J. Estudillo Colón of Laguna Pueblo has been selected for the newly created IAIA Provost position.
Colón served as the IAIA Academic Dean from 2020–2023 and transitioned into the IAIA Provost position Jan. 9. During an open forum in December, the IAIA Community had an opportunity to meet with Colón as a candidate and learn more about his vision statement for the Academic and Student Services divisions.
