Student Art Show Opens At Mesa Library Wednesday

The Upstairs Art Gallery at Mesa Public Library is more colorful than it has ever been, with the walls covered with artwork created by students from every school in the Los Alamos Public School System.

The exhibit opens to the public with a reception 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and will remain on display regular library hours through March 24.

The Lutheran High School North Concert Choir will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, March 8 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2000 Diamond Dr. Admission is free.

Lutheran High School North is a private Christian high school in Houston,Texas. The Lutheran High North Concert Choir is made up of 18 students from the nineth through the 12th grade.

Some students have sung in a choral setting for many years while others are, for the first time, experiencing what it is like to be part of a choir. Read More

LAHS Choir In Concert With University Of Denver’s Lamont Chorale At Smith Auditorium Saturday

Come hear Los Alamos High School’s Schola Cantorum in concert with University of Denver’s Lamont Chorale at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, in the Duane Smith Auditorium.
 
Schola Cantorum is LAHS’s premiere mixed ensemble, having won state competitions twice, first in 2015 and again in 2017.
 
Los Alamos is the last stop on the Lamont Chorale’s tour of New Mexico, and they have already performed with Santa Fe and Albuquerque high school choirs.
 
The concert is free to attend and open to the public.
