Museum Of Spanish Colonial Art Spring Auction April 5

SANTA FE — The community is invited to the first live Spring Auction of museum-quality art works Friday evening, April 5 on the patio of the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art, at 750 Camino Lejo at Museum Hill in Santa Fe.
 
The event starts at 4:30 p.m., with cocktails and hor d’oeurves while viewing the objects d’art in the Museum’s Grand Sala. Preview hour followed by a live auction at 5:30 p.m., on the museum patio with auctioneer Russel Kloer.

The Los Alamos Historical Society has announced that the popular Atomic Film Series returns this year with three films.

These atomic-themed films will be shown at 7 p.m. Wednesdays in historic Fuller Lodge with a suggested donation of $5. An exciting project is nearing completion in the White Rock Branch Library on Sherwood Boulevard. 

Installation will begin April 25 for “Kites of Many Colors”, a project consisting of woven glass kites that will be installed over the fireplace in the branch library.
