Children’s Christmas Bazaar Dec. 1 at TOTH

TOTH News:

Children’s Christmas Bazaar is 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 1 at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, 3900 Trinity Dr.

The event starts in Sherrill Hall, which will be filled with affordable gifts for children to purchase. All items purchased may be gift wrapped.

This is how it works: children (kindergarten through 6th grade) bring your parents to Trinity on the Hill and leave them to relax and enjoy refreshments while you take your money and a list of people you would like to buy Christmas gifts for to Kelly Hall.

The Hindu couple spoke to residents about Diwali, a five-day festival celebrated Nov 13 through Nov. 17.

Shoe Box Gifts Needed for Operation Christmas Child

United Church Thrift Shop Grand Opening Nov. 14

UNITED CHURCH News:

The community is invited to the grand opening celebration of the United Church Thrift Shop Nov. 14.

The thrift shop’s new location at 2525 Canyon Road is in the lower level of Craig Hall, opening onto the parking lot on the west side of the church property.

The event will take place 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with door prizes.

Huge Yard Sale to Benefit Fire Damaged Church

The New Beginnings Fellowship Church will hold a benefit yard sale starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.

Anything that is donated to the yard sale will be greatly appreciated by the chuch, which suffered heavy fire damage in July.

Donations can be dropped off until noon Friday behind the church at 112 East Road.
