You Don’t Have to Quit…

Have you ever asked God “Why are You allowing me or my loved ones to suffer like this?” If you have ever gone through some type of emotional, spiritual, or physical pain, then chances are you have asked or thought about this question.

Come to Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, to hear Father Colin Kelly speak to your pain, your fears, and your struggles.

You may be on the edge of losing it and giving up because the emotional or physical pain is overwhelming and you can’t imagine living with it any longer. After suffering awhile we start wondering why God hasn’t intervened. We begin questioning what we have done to deserve this, and then we begin to question whether God even cares. We feel as though God has abandoned us and that He is nowhere to be found. We feel alone and isolated from God.

You don’t have to quit! There is always hope for those who suffer, even if there appears to be no healing from the cause. Hear how to live with, into, and above that pain through Christ. The Apostle Paul wrote, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Your relationship with God may be a thing of the distant past, and words from the Bible may sound empty to your pain-wracked brain. No matter. Come anyway. What do you have to lose? Come at 5:17 p.m. for a great free meal and stay for the contemporary worship and the message. It just might make all the difference in your life.

Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church is located at 3900 Trinity Drive in Los Alamos.
