“Food on the Hill” by Sue York

This week’s recipe:
Acai Bowl

1 package of Acai packs (4 in one package, enough for 2 people), you can buy them at Whole Foods or maybe the Co-op
13 ice cubes
either a blender that can crush ice or a snow cone maker
1 single serving of apple juice
1/3 cup sugar
honey
2/3 cup of coconut
2/3 cup of granola
any kind of berries that you want
1 1/2 bananas
Mix together and heat the sugar and apple juice until the sugar is dissolved, then COOL in refrigerator.
Cut up your fruit to be put on the top of the dish and set to the side. Crush your ice until it is very fine.
Mix together the crushed ice, apple juice and all 4 Acai packs.
Divide between two bowls and top with coconut and granola. squirt on some honey and top with cut up fruit and squirt with honey again … Enjoy – they melt fast!
