The University of New Mexico, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, and the PNM Foundation have announced the UNM-PNM Statewide Mathematics Contest for the 2013-2014 school year.
The goal of the contest is to promote mathematical investigation, enhance problem-solving skills, and recognize and honor outstanding mathematics achievement among students in New Mexico.

Chamber’s Educational Seminar Focuses on New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange
The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce hosted an educational seminar for business owners Wednesday evening at the White Rock Visitor Center about the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange. U.S. 84/285 Traffic Switch North of Pojoaque

NMDOT continues work on U.S. 84/285 just north of Pojoaque between mile markers 182.4 and 183.2. The scope of the project includes new bridge construction with new on and off ramps, new roadway lighting, and pavement reconstruction for 0.72 miles within Santa Fe County.
There will be a switch in traffic on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 24. Enthusiastic Response to County’s Fall Brush and Bulk Item Collection
Residents such as this one in White Rock are placing a large volume of material out for the Fall Brush and Bulk Item Collection and therefore collection is taking closer to two weeks for each designated area.
