On Sept. 29, Melba Lee celebrated her Golden Circle Ritual hosted by the Laureate Rho Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and her daughter, Dawn Brown. The Ritual was performed at a brunch at the Los Alamos Posse Lodge attended by members of the four other chapters of Los Alamos Beta Sigma Phi.
Lee was honored for 50 years of membership in Beta Sigma Phi. She has lived in many places in the United States and Germany and has always found fellowship and life-long friendships with the sisters of Beta Sigma Phi.
Lee has inspired her daughter, Dawn Brown, who is also a long-time member and her granddaughters, Ari and Stephanie Brown, who are considered legacies.
Beta Sigma Phi is an international sorority of women who work together to improve their lives and the lives of others. This year the theme of Beta Sigma Phi is “You’re Among Friends.”
