The Office of the New Mexico Secretary of State has levied penalties of more than $5,000 against the Republican Party of Los Alamos County for failure to file financial reports.
Kenneth Ortiz of the Secretary of State’s Office told the Los Alamos Daily Post that the local party has not filed the required financial reports for the reporting period due last October and those due earlier this month. He explained that New Mexico Campaign Finance Law states that a party failing to file will be ordered to pay the Secretary

June Perusek, 98, a resident of White Rock for eight years, died April 17 in a Greeley, CO, assisted living facility.
Perusek moved to Greeley in 2014.

2016 Summer Concert Series Line Up

Been working on the 2016 Series and I’m almost ready to go to print. What I really need now ,besides a few more band confirmations is some more financial support.
This is what we have so far and once again, this will be our best year (I say this every year). This is our 27th year. All shows are 7-10 p.m., Fridays. Everything could change including bands and venues but this is pretty much it:
