Candia Has Perfect Prediction In Weekly Pace Race

Roxana Candia had a perfect prediction in Tuesday’s Atomic City Road Runner Pace Race with a 24:00 time on the 3 mile course held on the trail on North Mesa by the horse stables. 
 
Other accurate predictors were Nick Parra-Vasquez with a 5 second differential, Brian Newnam at 9 seconds off, and Jesse Woodroffe with an 11 second difference.
 
The top finisher in on the 1 mile course was six year old Anders Medin at 10:50. The fastest female was his grandmother Aurea Rojas with a time of 10:52. On the 3 mile course Ryan Smeltzer has the best time recording a 21:53 and the top female finisher Laura Woodroffe had a 22:59.
 
Next week’s race starts at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 26 in the Western area at the Sullivan Field high school football field parking lot. 1 and 3 mile courses will be available. For more information call 505.672.1639 or visit the Club’s website.
