The Los Alamos Choral Society presents their spring concert, entitled “Love In Bloom,” at 3 p.m., this Sunday at the United Church of Los Alamos.

There will be a second performance at Cochiti Lake on Memorial Day.

They will perform, “How to Talk to Turtles, (a love song),” by Mary Badarak, LACS’s director. It opens with the lines:

Thirty Citizens Selected to Speak at Tonight’s CIP Mtg.

County Communications Manager Julie Habiger calls out ticket numbers for the 30 residents who will speak during the 90 minutes set aside for public comment, which starts in a few minutes. A crowd of citizens lines up to pull a ticket out of a bowl, from the County’s Julie Habiger, for a chance to speak during tonight’s public comment portion of the special CIP meeting in Council Chambers.
