Los Alamos Arts Council Executive Director Marlane Hamilton officially retired from her position Friday. To celebrate Hamilton’s many contributions to the arts organization as well as to the community, a farewell reception was held Friday night at Fuller Lodge. The event was catered by Blue Window Bistro. As a goodbye gift, the arts council presented Hamilton with a signed photograph of Fuller Lodge. The Los Alamos Under 19s boys and girls teams are holding a fundraiser during the Fourth of July celebration at Overlook Park. All proceeds from the Atomic Roasted Corn booth go toward purchasing new uniforms for the Los Alamos Nukes boys and the Los Alamos Bombshells girls teams. Three flavors of roasted corn will be offered; green chile bacon, chipotle and butter parmesan.
