The Los Alamos High School Girls Basketball game vs. Del Norte has been updated to tonight instead of Saturday.
Schedule:
- C Team will tipoff at 4 p.m. in Griffith Gymnasium.

FBI: Person Of Interest Sought In Death Of Acoma Pueblo Woman

The FBI is seeking a person of interest who may have information regarding the death of a woman whose body was found on Acoma Pueblo in November 2014.
Nathan Chavez, 32, is 5’8” tall, weighs approximately 165 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen Nov. 23, 2014, in the Laguna Pueblo area attempting to hitch a ride to Albuquerque.
Chavez is known to frequent Albuquerque homeless shelters around the area of Central Avenue and Wyoming Boulevard. He also is known to stay around the area of Central Avenue and Yale Boulevard, near the University of New Mexico. Read More

In accordance with an adopted motion last January to form a Future Energy Resources (FER) Ad Hoc Citizen Committee, the Board of Public Utilities (BPU) appointed four individuals to serve on the seven member committee.

Pile burning will continue this weekend on Los Alamos County lands.
Smoke from the pile burns will be monitored to ensure that the New Mexico Environment Department’s Air Quality Bureau regulations are being met. Smoke will likely be visible from Espanola, Santa Clara and Santa Fe and from N.M. 502 and N.M. 285.

Artist Erin Green leads young artists ages 4-6 on a variety of themed projects every other Monday through the beginning of May. Classes are 10-11:30 a.m. and cover everything from Dr. Suess and Earth Day projects to mosaics, stamping and sculpture.
