The Gospel of Matthew is the opening book of the New Testament of the Bible. Courtesy/biblescripture.netSo long, farewell, adieu! The Generations band will be going on hiatus after this Sunday evening’s service, Feb. 22, at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church—at least for a while.
BUT that doesn’t mean the service (or the great food) is going anywhere! We will be experimenting with different formats and directions, and we welcome you to join us and provide input. Bring a friend!
Have you ever wondered about the Scripture in Matthew, where Jesus says “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.”? This week, Mother Alicia will discuss the New Testament and lifestyle changes we need to make to deny ourselves and receive this abundant life that Jesus promises.
EVERYONE is welcome! We’ll have yummy food, great music, and a great teaching. Join us for a FREE community dinner at 5:15 p.m., followed at 6:07 p.m. with the service and a live praise-and-worship band!
