Letter To The Editor: Statement Regarding My Brother’s Case

By JAMES CHROBOCINSKI
Los Alamos County Councilor and
Owner/Broker Zia Realty Group

While I am very happy that my brother, Randy Foster, has been vindicated. I find it appalling that it came to this. In the beginning all Randy wanted was his name cleared and to be reinstated.

This waste of money and time could have been prevented from the start. I am very troubled by the mishandling of the case and by false statements provided by the county.

While I had recused myself from the discussion while the case was active, I believe it is the Councils’ duty to now look closely at this

By ELENA YANG
Los Alamos

Why not? But let me start at the individual level.

Do you remember the last time you changed your mind because of someone’s powerful persuasion? And in what ways was that persuasion powerful? Further, if you were wrong in the first place, how easy was it for you to admit that you were wrong?

On issues for which one has little preference, like a movie a person is ambivalent about, a friend’s recommendation may suffice. On issues that are complicated and evoke strong feelings, it would take time and several presentations Read More
