Letter To The Editor: Statement Regarding My Brother’s Case

While I am very happy that my brother, Randy Foster, has been vindicated. I find it appalling that it came to this. In the beginning all Randy wanted was his name cleared and to be reinstated.
 
This waste of money and time could have been prevented from the start. I am very troubled by the mishandling of the case and by false statements provided by the county.
 
While I had recused myself from the discussion while the case was active, I believe it is the Councils’ duty to now look closely at this problem and rectify it in order to prevent future such issues.
