Bill Olson passed away at his home in Los Alamos May 5, 2016 at the age of 86.
 
He was born June 15, 1929 in Rock Island, Illinois to Willie and Irene Olson. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and sisters and survived by his wife, Lyn, children and spouses, Holly and Robert Vigil, Eric and Mary Olson, James and Danielle Olson, and seven grandchildren. He was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and on the board of Self Help.
 
Bill graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, attended both the University of Southern

The family of Greg Fisher invites the community to attend an open house held in commemoration of Greg Fisher Tuesday, May 10 at the Pajarito Mountain Ski Lodge.

Community members are welcome to stop by anytime from 4:30-7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served, however, bring your own beverage (BYOB) is requested.

Tuesday’s memorial will be in lieu of any funeral service in Los Alamos, and instead of flowers, the family has requested donations in Greg Fisher’s name as follows:

Maggie (Geringer) Davis passed away peacefully in her Bozeman, MT home on March 8th, 2016 with her children at her side.

She was born in Wheatland, WY to Elizabeth and Henry Geringer on Oct. 2, 1937. Her siblings are Jeri, John, and Darlene. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Darlene Fabricius.

She received her Bachelor of Science and Certificate of Physical Therapy from the Univ. of Colorado, Boulder, in 1959 and worked as a PT for 46 years. In her youth on Read More

Robotics Presentation For 6th Graders May 11

LAMS News:

The Los Alamos Middle School Beta Hawks Robotics Team will describe their activities and plans for next school year during a presentation, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the gymnasium at Barranca Elementary School.

While everyone interested in viewing the LAMS robots are welcome, the presentation is ‘geared’ to answer 6th graders’ and their parents’ questions about the robotics program. The Beta Hawks will bring their robot, Epic, to demonstrate and are preparing their presentation to let 6th graders know what they need to know to be on a First Technical Challenge team.
