MOIFA Presents: Folk Art Museum Nite At Railyard July 31

MOIFA News:

Join the Museum of International Folk Art (MOIFA) for a free screening of the iconic film “The Milagro Beanfield War” at the Santa Fe Railyard in collaboration with AMP Concerts. 

Due to inclement weather last Saturday, the Folk Art Museum Nite at Railyard Park has been rescheduled to 8-10 p.m. this Saturday, July 31.

New Mexico music legend and NEA Heritage Fellow Cipriano Vigil will perform a few songs before the screening. Vigil is an extra in the movie and is featured on the soundtrack. This movie is presented in conjunction with the MOIFA exhibit “Música Buena: Hispano Folk Music of New Mexico”.

The New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs Wonders on Wheels Educators also will be present with New Mexico Music information and hands-on craft kits to make onsite or take home.
