ABELINA ‘LITA’ LOVATO Aug. 14, 2016
Abelina “Lita” Lovato, 89, a resident of Los Alamos, passed away of a lengthy illness on Sunday, August 14, 2016.
Abelina was preceded in death by her parents, Abelino and Rose Lucero; daughter, Betty Roberta Lovato, son, Alex Lovato Jr.; sisters, Sophie, Mary, Esther, and Simon.

Unitarian Church: ‘Songs For A Summer Evening’ Friday

The Unitarian Church of Los Alamos is presenting “Songs for a Summer Evening,” a concert celebrating the grand opening of its new building. The concert begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19.

Los Alamos County officials announced that utility work on Orange Street and Diamond Drive will create a 10-minute delay for this evening’s commuters heading north on Diamond Drive.
