By DIANN MILLS I had to make the dreaded hour long trip to Santa Fe Emergency Vet on Sunday with a sick cat. I’m thankful that they are there. But having to wait an hour to get help for a bleeding or sick cat or dog is so unsettling.
And the fact that they are closed on Wednesday and Thursday for the foreseeable future because they can’t find enough vets who want to work in emergency medicine is really scary.
Can’t our local vets get together and offer after hours care for at least Wednesdays and Thursdays until Santa Fe is open again on those days? We could sure use after hours emergency vet Read More
