Hilltalkers to Debate UNM-LA Mil Levy Thursday

The League of Women Voters is sponsoring a Town Hall meeting 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 at UNM-Los Alamos.
The event will take place in the Lecture Hall in Building 2. The purpose of the meeting is for the public to get information about the proposed mil levy.
The Los Alamos High School Hilltalkers will debate the pros and cons of the mil levy election question, followed by a presentation by Dr. Cindy Rooney, who recently was appointed dean of instruction at UNM-LA.
