The public is invited to join concerned citizens for an introduction to the Common Core State Standards, a National Education Program designed to standardize and Align Standards, Curriculum and Testing.
Come learn the goals of Common Core. Where did it come from? How and when did it start? Who was involved in its start-up? Who has been paying for it? Who will pay for it in the future? What are the hidden consequences of implementing Common Core? How will it affect your kids?

The event is sponsored by the Los Alamos County Republican Party and the Los Alamos Federated Republican Women. A meeting of the Los Alamos Republican Central Committee will follow the presentation.
