The Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation and the Bjarke family have announced the winners of the 2019 George and Joan Bjarke scholarship.
The winners of a $2,000 scholarship each are Israel Gellis, Morgan Jones and Emmeline Segler.
The scholarship is awarded annually to students who demonstrate good citizenship and the ability to successfully complete their selected degree or program. Read More
Free Hot Lunches At Aspen Elementary Through Aug. 2

Aspen Elementary School is still the home of free food for children under the age of 18 through Aug. 2.
The Summer Food Service Program is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and provides a free hot lunch and healthy snack. This free lunch is extended to any youth visiting the community during the summer.
Meals are served Monday through Friday, with an option for parents to purchase a meal for just $5.
