3:30 p.m. Tour of the new, renovated Los Alamos High School, plus class photo – A tour organized by the Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation will walk you through the new LAHS. The class of ’89 will take a group photo at the conclusion of the tour.

7-10 p.m. Mixer at Fuller Lodge – Alumni will gather at Fuller Lodge to reconnect with friends and classmates from 30 years ago. The event will include heavy appetizers and a no-host bar, including beer from Los Alamos’ own Bathtub Row Brewery. Please sign up and purchase a ticket for the event on the website as soon as possible. Cost is $15/person.

Sunday, Aug. 11:

10 a.m. Brunch and Remembrance – The final organized event will be a gathering at Ashley Pond to remember members of the class of 1989 who have passed away. Breakfast burritos from El Parasol will be available. Friends and family are welcome. You can purchase tickets on the website. Cost is $10/person.

Class Challenge:

Lastly, Class of 1989 alums David Lyons and Stephanie Archuleta—board members of the Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation—are challenging their fellow alumni to join them in raising $5,000 for the Foundation before the end of the reunion.

“There’s no question that these Los Alamos schools helped make each of us who we are today,” Lyons said. “Stephanie and I are asking our fellow graduates to give back by donating whatever amount they are able to help continue the important work of the Foundation.”
