Report Of Person Stuck In Elevator Proves False

Los Alamos Police and Firefighters respond to a report this morning of a person stuck in an elevator at the former Hilltop House Hotel at Trinity Drive and Central Avenue. A search did not turn up anyone in either of the two elevators in the building, however, there are signs that someone broke through the chain link fence surrounding the hotel and made their way inside. Police received a report last week from a passerby spotting a person on one of the upper floors. LAFD has left the scene and LAPD remains to continue their investigation. Even stretches of river like the Rio Grande between Pilar and Velarde long the highway will have portions of the river
