LAFD Knocks Down Two Fires In White Rock

This wildfire in White Rock Canyon started overnight by embers from July 4th fireworks at Overlook Park. LAFD said it is not clear wheter the fire works were from the show or random fireworks from individuals in the area. Los Alamos Firefighters doused the blaze overnight, which consumed 5 acres, and are finishing mop up activities this afternoon. LAFD also snuffed out a 4,000-square-foot fire overnight near the White Rock Eco Station and responded to two vehicles accidents.
