ALBUQUERQUE — Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham Wednesday announced a $10 million state infrastructure investment in the Albuquerque Rail Trail, an urban redevelopment project launched by the City of Albuquerque to build a 7-mile loop of multi-use trails connecting downtown and riverside destinations.

Working hand in hand with private landowners, fire crews are fixing fences, repairing roads, seeding, chipping, and removing vegetation with great perseverance and fortitude. SANTA FE — After receiving questions from the public about the previously announced thinning project in Pacheco Canyon scheduled for July 25-27, the Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) wishes to clarify that what the work crews will be doing just north of Santa Fe is thinning only.

SFNF: Winsor Trail Scheduled To Close July 25-27

SANTA FE — The Española Ranger District on the Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) will close a 1-mile segment of the Winsor Trail just south of Forest Road (FR) 102, July 25-27, to provide for public safety during fuels reduction thinning activities in partnership with the Pueblo of Tesuque.

Trail guards will be posted to prevent forest visitors from entering the area while the work is completed. Mountain bikers and hikers will not be able to follow the Winsor Trail from Ski Santa Fe to Tesuque on those days.

SFNF: Additional Crews Arrive To Bolster Suppression Repair Efforts – Hermits Peak & Calf Canyon Fire
