Connor Galvin Best Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

Connor Galvin was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held Tuesday on the Power Line Point Trail just outside of White Rock at 10 seconds off his predicted time. 

Other accurate predictors: 

  • Laura McClellan with a 21 second differential as well as the best female finisher on the 3-mile course at 28:39;
  • Anna Ferenbaugh, 12, recording a 24 second difference and the top finisher in the 1-mile distance with a time of 11:08; and
  • Ted Romero at 38 seconds off; and
  • Mark Bjorklund with a 47 second difference.

Robbie Ferenbaugh, 11, was the first male finisher on the 1-mile course recording a time of 11:09.

In the 3-mile distance, Ryan Smeltzer had a time of 23:59 for top finisher.

Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 26 on the Canada Bonito Trail, just past the Ski Lodge on the opposite side of Camp May Road. 1-mile paved and 1-mile and 3-mile trail runs will be available.
