Robin Cutler, director of Ingram Spark, will speak to the New Mexico Book Co-op on Ingram Spark and other book related questions and trends.
 
Ingram is the world’s largest book distributor. The lunch is Friday, Oct. 27, at Golden Corral on San Mateo in Albuquerque.
 
The meeting starts at noon but people come as early as 11 a.m. to network and have lunch. Each attendee pays for their own lunch and is expected to pay and partake of the lunch bar. The lunch is open to the public and beginners in the book business are encouraged

New Mexico School For The Arts Dance Department Fall Dance Showcase Nov. 2-4

SANTA FE  New Mexico School for the Arts’ Dance Department will offer a one hour performance Nov. 2-4 featuring the talented young dancers of NMSAat the James A. Little Theater.
 
The performance begins at 7 p.m. Nov. 2. There is a pre-performance reception at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 3, featuring a performance by the NMSA Jazz Ensemble in the James A. Little Theater lobby before the 7 .m. performance. Performances also will be held at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.
