Cinema Cindy Reviews ‘Green Book’

“Green Book” is truly one of the best films of last year. Performances by Viggo Mortenson (who gained weight for this role) and (a very elegant) Mahershala Ali are clearly worthy of nominations for the Oscar.

In fact, both men were nominated for Golden Globes; Ali won for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role. At the Golden Globes, the screenplay for Green Book took top honors, and the film itself was awarded Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.

SANTA FE Admission to the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture on Santa Fe’s Museum Hill will be half-price while the Here Now and Always core exhibit is closed Jan. 21 through Feb.1 for upgrades to the HVAC system in the gallery.
 
“This HVAC systems upgrade will help stabilize the museum environment in the Amy Rose Bloch Wing, which will further advance MIAC’s collections stewardship mission to protect New Mexico’s indigenous cultural patrimony,” MIAC Director Della Warrior said.
