Lady Hilltoppers Volley Ball Battles St. Mike’s

Lady Hilltopper Sophia Salazar spike kills a drive in the 3rd set. She had 11 kills for the night as St. Mike’s came out strong, winning the first set 25-12. In the second game Los Alamos stayed with St. Mike and lost steam. The 3rd game was the most exciting with both teams trading points and there were a couple of long rallies. Then in the 4th, the Hilltoppers had a hard time getting past their blocks and St. Mike’s was able to find the floor better than LA. Constitution Day High Elevation 5K Run/2 Mile Walk

Through the Constitution Day High Elevation 5K Run/2 Mile Walk, the Republican Party of Los Alamos is promoting health, wellness and fun.

The race is 7 a.m., Sept. 15 at Pajarito Mountain Ski Area.

The Pajarito Mountain Ski Area is on the north face of Pajarito Mountain in the Jemez Mountains in North Central New Mexico, west of Los Alamos. It is on 850 acres of privately owned land with a base elevation of 9,000 feet and top elevation of 10,440 feet.

Scenes From Lady Hilltoppers Volley Ball Match Against Bloomfield Bobcats

The Lady Hilltoppers Volley Ball Team played their season opener against the Bloomfield Bobcats Saturday afternoon in Griffith Gymnasium. The Toppers came out strong and won three sets, 25-8, 25-16 and 25-12 to win the match. Sophia Salazar had 15 kills and 6 digs on the match. Natalie Gallegos had 9 kills and earned 12 points from the service line, with five of those being aces. Kyla Sandoval had 7 digs and 14 points and 4 ace serves. Elise Olive had 17 assists and earned 7 points off of serves. Elodie Thelliez had 9 assists and earned 11 serving points. It was a nice start to the 2018 volleball season. Read More

Scenes From Lady Toppers Against Prep Blue Griffins

The Lady Toppers Soccer Team opened their season with a game against the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins at home at Sullivan Field. The Toppers cruised to a 3-0 win over the Griffins, which had an undefeated season last year during regular play and lost in the final game at the State Playoffs in a double overtime. The win was a big one for the Toppers and a very nice way to begin the season. The team will have their next game Sept. 8 in the four corners area against Farmington.
