I’m thinking of new beginnings as the new year begins. It’s been almost four years now, since Gwendolyn hen was a chick, raised in our human house during a nasty cold spring, thus imprinted with me as her mother hen.

Thursday’s 55-39 win against West Las Vegas brings the Hilltopper Girls basketball season record to 6-6.

Sierra and Peewee are eight-year-old spayed female Jack Russell Terriers. They came from a rescue after they were badly attacked in their own home by two larger dogs in the home.

Ruth Louise Bull Demuth died peacefully at home on December 27, 2013 at the age of 82, from Alzheimer’s Disease and its associated complications.
