San Bar Striping is scheduled to stripe NM502 (Trinity Drive) from Pojoaque to Diamond Drive.

San Bar Striping should be in the Los Alamos area around mid-day Tuesday, April 7 to begin the work.

LAAC Benefit Concert: An Artful Evening

The Los Alamos Arts Council (LAAC) invites the community to attend an evening of arts and culture beginning with a dessert reception and silent auction followed by a concert featuring pianist Ron Grinage playing works by Russian composers.

The auction and reception begin at 6 p.m., and the concert begins at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 18 at Fuller Lodge.

I have attached a figure of the LANL cosmos with an image of a phase separated foam that I generated many years ago. Many similar features.

Was the Big Bang a foam experiment in an open vessel?

The foam image is shallow in depth and more structured, whereas I assume the cosmos image is infinite.

Governor Signs Bill To Help Pay Off Student Loans For Nurses Who Go Back To School

LAS CRUCES — Today, Gov. Susana Martinez signed legislation that will help pay off student loan debt for nurses who go back to school to become educators in their field.

Senate Bill 341, sponsored by Sen. Pete Campos, D-Las Vegas, allows eligible nurses to enter into loan-for-service agreements through the Nurse Educators Fund. Currently, only faculty are eligible to receive aid from this fund. This legislation helps address the state’s shortage of nurses by encouraging nurses to enter the classroom and teach the next generation in their field.
