Jesse Jr. Lytten, 85, passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 10th 2015 with his beloved wife Shirley Lytten by his side. He had his daughters, Donna Jean Young and Suzanne Waterbury there as well. Several of his immediate family members were waiting. Jesse was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

An International Accreditation Assessment Team is in town this week to assess the Los Alamos Fire Department for International Accreditation status. LAFD first earned International Accreditation in 1997 under Fire Chief Doug MacDonald and most recently in 2010.
