The Los Alamos Skate Park was hardcore heaven today during Thrash ‘n Bash.
Roller derby, skateboarding and post-punk music from Nukeproof were on tap, as well as wearables from the new Los Alamos company Atomic Kings.

Graduates from the Los Alamos High School Class of ’65 will be gathering in Los Alamos on Homecoming Weekend, Sept. 11-13.
Their 50th reunion kicks off with a mixer at Fuller Lodge on Friday night, followed by attendance in group seating at the Toppers’ football game. Saturday offers free time for a golf event, visits to Bandelier or favorite sites, and the possibility of getting reacquainted with the surroundings through Buffalo Tours.

Several committee members will be at the Los Alamos County Council’s Fair booth Saturday to visit with the public about the new Park coming in 2016.
The public is invited to stop by 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and visit with them at their tent near Central Avenue.
The Committee met Aug. 6 to discuss the Memorandum of Agreement that has been released by the National Park Service. The deadline for comments to NPS is Aug. 28, 2015.
