Winter Clothing Allowance To Help More Than 15,000 New Mexico Children

SANTA FE  The New Mexico Human Services Department announced an additional clothing allowance that will help more than 15,000 children throughout New Mexico.
 
Effective Jan. 1, eligible households will receive an additional $50 per child to buy clothes for the second half of the school year.

Jennifer Leon and Felix Voltsinger are having their first show together this January at the Mesa Public Library Gallery. The new exhibit begins Monday, Dec. 28 and continues through Jan. 28, 2016. There will be an opening reception 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7.

NMDOT Announces Anti-DWI Electronic Highway Signs To Deter Drunk Driving

SANTA FE  The New Mexico Department of Transportation announced that for the first time in New Mexico, electronic highway signs will display strategic messages aimed at deterring drunk driving.

In order to participate in the upcoming Los Alamos Public School Special All Mail Election, Los Alamos County Clerk Sharon Stover would like to remind residents who are not registered, or have moved, to complete a voter registration form.
