Dewey picked up Emily’s yellow dress at the cleaners and drove it back to her here in the valley. They had managed to get most of the wine stains out. But what Dewey hadn’t managed to get out that fateful evening at the Italian restaurant was his vow of eternal love for Emily and a suggestion that they become mister and missus Decker.

As a member of the County Council’s Regional and State Subcommittee, I helped develop our state legislative agenda, which was approved by the whole Council last December.

In addition to issues that we watch carefully every year, such as funding for local public education and capital improvement grants (we did receive $100,000 for affordable housing), our agenda included two items of special

Car Crashes Into Brick Wall At Trinity And Central

This vehicle crashed into a brick wall at about 11 p.m. Wednesday where Trinity Drive and Central Avenue split near the former Hilltop House Hotel. First responders were on the scene assisting those involved. It’s not yet known the extent of any injuries, but the impact of the collision was sufficient to deploy this vehicle’s airbag. A silver pick up was stopped toward the right of the vehicle and appeared to have sustained front end damage. County crews were out in force plowing and sanding the roadways but the falling snow was rapidly covering over that work. Photo by Carol A. Clark/ladailypost.com Read More
