When Phil Rink was growing up in Los Alamos, he was a bright kid, already on the road to becoming the inventor and engineer he would be as an adult.

His favorite books were not about magic and dragons, nor were they about interpersonal relationships between young adults. He loved plot driven books that explained something, or taught how to solve a problem, he said. Now this type of book, think Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boys, has become hard to find. Traffic Alert: Rover Boulevard Southbound Right Lane Closure Near Del Norte Credit Union Thursday

Traffic Alert:

Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets division will be working on Rover Boulevard Thursday, May 2 in White Rock to repair a cut in the road.

The cut was caused by an emergency water line break that occurred a few weeks back.

The lane closure will occur in the southbound right lane next to Del Norte Credit Union. Crews will begin setting up traffic control at 8 a.m. and should complete the project by noon.
